Extremely rare vagrant. This large warbler is restricted to the Eastern Mediterranean, and occurs as an accidental transient this far east.
Where in Kuwait 
A single confirmed record is from a deceased bird found in mid September 1972 at Umm Al-Aish.
In the world 
It has an extremely large range and a stable population and it breeds in southeast Europe and the near east. It is migratory, wintering in eastern and southern Africa, from Kenya south to South Africa. It feeds on invertebrates
