Found in mixed flocks of Ducks on inland fresh water pools in Jahra area.
In the world 
A slender-necked dabbling duck with a rather flat crown and straight bill. It breeds on shallow, eutrophic fresh water in lowland and steppe habitat and winters in Africa.
Local threats 
Shooting is a threat for Geese and Ducks during passage migration.
