Information

Uncommon passage migrant; rare winter visitor. The region’s largest Sylvia warbler. A widespread bird on migration, usually seen in small numbers or sometimes in scattered groups wherever there are clusters of trees and bushes.
Where in Kuwait 
This distinctive warbler has a preference for trees or bushes up to three metres tall where it feeds on insects in the habitat or even on the ground and can be seen in most areas with this habitat during migration
In the world 
It has an extremely large range and marked annual fluctuations have been noted within this species's European breeding range. lt has a large breeding range that extends from Central Europe through Central Asia to western China and south-eastern Mongolia. Outside of the breeding season, all populations travel southwards to East Africa. It is the largest member of the genus Sylvia.
