الدخلة القاتمة
Kuwaiti name

Information
Extremely rare vagrant, usually in the autumn or winter. This skulking dark brown warbler may be under-recorded, but if seen well it is quite distinctive: one should look for a long supercilium and reddish legs.
Where in Kuwait
Only 2 records for Kuwait with the last recorded at Al Abraq in November 2011, the first record was from Jahra Farm
In the world
It has an extremely large range with a stable population and breeds in east Asia. This warbler is strongly migratory and winters in southeast Asia, but is prone to vagrancy. The call is a harsh 'check' and is often the first clue that this typically skulking species is present, away from the breeding grounds.
