Information

Rare passage migrant and winter visitor. A lark of the mountains and hills overwintering in the lowlands. During hard winters it will visit various localities in Kuwait, always in low numbers.
Where in Kuwait 
They have been recorded feeding in short crops at local farms in the Jahra area and public parks in the Fahaheel area
In the world 
It has an extremely large range with an uncertain population. Its range extends from southern Britain and southern Fenno-Scandia to southern Europe and east to the Urals. This species tends to winter in the west and south of the range. The Woodlark is commemorated by two famous British poets for its beautiful song.

Habitat loss and degradation and human disturbance
