Only 1 record for Kuwait where one individual was caught and ringed at Jahra Pool Reserve in late November 1995.
In the world
It has an extremely large range and a population that is suspected to be stable in the absence of evidence for any declines or substantial threats. It is found across temperate and subarctic Asia. It is migratory, wintering in India and other parts of southern Asia. Like other Accentors, this species has an insectivore's fine pointed bill.
