Rare passage migrant and winter visitor. The region’s smallest falcon often hunts birds up to the size of a pigeon. During migration and winter it will utilize almost any habitat, even hunting shorebirds on mudflats.
Where in Kuwait
It has been recorded infrequently in a variety of habitats ranging from farmland to desert areas with suitable habitat.
In the world
This species has an extremely large range predominantly in the northern hemisphere and is an extremely fast and agile hunter of which birds make up most of it's diet.

Indiscriminate shooting and trapping for falconry.
