A secretive species generally associated with freshwater reedbeds in the Jahra area and has been recorded breeding in the past.
In the world
It normally nests in small numbers in either single or mixed specie colonies. The species is largely crepuscular and nocturnal, but may feed diurnally especially during the breeding season.
